It is always such a blessing to see first time parents with their sweet babies – but when you know the story behind it, when you were there to witness the longing and the long wait, well, the blessing is that much sweeter.  And this beautiful couple could not be happier with their precious babies.  They are so proud of these two tiny people.  Of course they aren’t sleeping, and it takes an army to get out of the house, or to get everyone fed and changed, and of course their whole world has changed, but they wouldn’t have it any other way.

And what an amazing experience to have my first set of newborn twins be with such wonderful friends.  I knew it would be hard – and it was!  I was wiped out, physically and mentally, but it was worth every minute.  These babies are so beautiful and it is hard to put into words how incredible it was to work with not one, but two tiny little beings at the same time.  Getting the timing right, the posing right, the everything right was all a bit trickier than it is with one newborn, but I think it made it that much more rewarding when a pose came together.  When it all worked it was almost like magic…
