What a wild ride this summer has been! In July I was contacted by the local Charlotte NBC Station about filming another story for the news on Underwater Photography.
I had been featured by WBTV news with Caroline Hicks in June with a Family and High School Senior Styled Session. So I chose to feature Underwater Maternity Photography with Siblings for the Wake Up Charlotte Feature.
Wake Up Charlotte!
When WBNTV’s Wake Up Charlotte reached out, I offered to photograph their reporter, Hannah, in the water as part of the story. I love how willing Hannah was to jump in with me and do photos as well!!
She is a former gymnast, so of course she had some amazing moves under the water…
Underwater Maternity Photography with Siblings in Charlotte NC
Jamie was a joy to photograph for this Underwater Maternity Session. She was super easy going and willing to try whatever I suggested. However, she had one very specific request.
She wanted a photo with “all three” of her babies. She hadn’t been able to lift both girls at once for a Belly Shot with Baby Boy Blue. To have both Sisters wrapped around their Mama’s Growing Belly for a Sibling Photo was incredibly special to this Mama!
All the Babies…
No matter how gorgeous she looked in this Red Tulle Couture Gown from Sew Trendy Designs, the truly amazing part for her was that she could finally lift ALL THREE of her babies for one photo!
Well, I think it made us all cry!
Let’s Dive In
This photo of Jamie’s oldest daughter was the cover image for an article I wrote this summer, published in the NAPCP Inspired Magazine. “Let’s Dive In! Underwater Introduction and Inspiration” was such a fun article to write and share in the Water Issue of this beautiful publication!!
I have photographed many Maternity Sessions this summer, but the majority have been for first time Mamas. It was so much fun to work with an Underwater Family Maternity Session this time.
And if this wasn’t the sweetest little girl ever! She drew this perfect little photo after she saw her Underwater Photo. I love it so much and have it framed in my office!!
The girls are such sweet sisters and loved being in the water. Mama felt amazing in the water and the cool relief from the Summer Heat along with the added buoyancy allowed her to play, relax, and have such a fun afternoon with her two beautiful girls.
Jamie’s family announced their third pregnancy to family and friends with a Jaws shark theme. When we had our consultation and planned our session she mentioned that she would love to incorporate some sort of shark theme to our session. I had photographed this sign as part of a series for Rustic Avenue‘s Nautical Product Line earlier this summer and we knew it was the perfect addition to Jamie’s session!
I’m not crying – you’re crying!
My friends! This is the Gown I purchased for my own Maternity Photos when I was pregnant with Jacob – four summers ago! And I had yet to photograph another client in it.
As we were wrapping up our session Jamie asked if she could try something in Blue since their baby number three is their first boy.
And I think it was perfect.
The third baby dress….
The dress for Mamas who, like me, realized with baby number last how special maternity photos are, what an amazing memory these photos capture, and how incredible it is for the whole family to have this art in our homes to celebrate this growing new life…
Tell me friends. How did you celebrate your baby bump with each of your pregnancies? Or what ways do you envision celebrating your future baby belly? Have you considered an Underwater Photography Maternity session with all of the siblings? I adored capturing so many Charlotte baby bellies under the water this summer! They are absolutely magical!
Thank you Moliveri Artistry for providing amazing Underwater Makeup for our session. As always, you helped Mom feel so incredibly special and taken care of for her Underwater Maternity Session.
Winter is Coming…
And I can’t wait to capture more this winter when I release my Indoor Underwater Photography Pool dates for January, February, and March….
