Underwater Portraits have become such a passion of mine this summer! I am absolutely having a blast in the pool ~ combining two of my very favorite things in the world! Photography and the Water!!

It is always an honor when another photographer trusts me to capture her family! And this session was especially fun since I’ve known Michelle of Michelle Bentzen Photography since we were just a little older than her oldest son! We grew up as friends and neighbors in Kerman, California, her mom was my little sister’s first grade teacher at Kerman Floyd Elementary and her younger sister is still one of my sister’s dearest friends! I was super excited when she reached out to me about doing an Underwater Session while I was in California!

I had so much fun with her boys!  Her older son is an absolute fish.  He is an amazing swimmer at just six years old!!  And her little guy just celebrated his 4th Happy Birthday.  He is such a happy little boy ~ and I was so proud of how brave he was at our Underwater Session!!  I kept referring to him as my Little Puffer Fish.  A little shy about getting in the water with me, harder to photograph, but oh so adorable and worth the effort!!

{And did I mention that I absolutely Adore Pufferfish! I promise, if you ever swim with one in the ocean ~ you will too! They are shy and like to hide, but have the biggest eyes and are so stinkin cute!!}
