Some women fear the fire. Some women simply become it. ~ RH Sin
I can’t thank sweet Adrienne enough for working with my creative vision on this project. At 38 weeks pregnant she was simply glowing. Her beautiful baby girl was born just two short weeks after our time together ~ and I can’t wait to meet their beautiful new little one….
I love how free she felt in the water! It reminded me so much of how I felt about water with each of my pregnancies. I remember going away for a Baby Moon with each of our boys and my number one requirement each time was a fantastic pool! Our first was due in May and my husband found this beautiful little resort up in the mountains. But they had a gorgeous indoor pool and offered water aerobics classes. It was fantastic!
My other two were born late summer or early fall, so I am pretty sure I spent the entire summer leading up to their births in and around the pool! There is something so freeing about the water ~ all the extra weight disappears, mobility returns ~ it is just amazing!
A New Favorite?
Underwater Maternity Sessions are quickly becoming a favorite for me. I love the flow of the fabric in the water. The ability to capture the fun and quirky ~ like Adrienne’s amazing Hot Pink Bikini and gorgeous high heels! And then with a quick outfit change we are able to capture the ethereal beauty of the flowing gowns.
Did you know?
Did you know? I provide the gowns for all of my Maternity Sessions ~ Dry Land and Underwater. I have a different set for each type of session. My Underwater Collection is growing! I have pale pink, cream lace, light blue and fiery red. What color should I look for next?

Adrienne was absolutely amazing in this Fiery Red Gown. We took her to the deep end for this part of the session ~ always with another swimmer close by for safety ~ and she absolutely rocked these portraits!
I *may* have squealed a bit when this 38 week pregnant Mama texted me photos of her Hot Pink Bikini and High Heels! I mean, how amazing were these for an Underwater Maternity Session!?!
These photos are gorgeous! I really love the top 2 with the red gown, the red gown swimming toward the camera, the bikini laying totally flat and the last bikini photo.
