I had a photographer friend contact about doing something a little different ~ and a little out of my comfort zone!  She was coming to Kansas City with six girlfriends for a very fun Bachelorette Party Weekend.  They were planning fun glittery outfits and a big night out. She asked me to come downtown and photograph all of them together before they went out.  They had already taken a poll dancing class that morning, so I won’t say I met up with them ‘before’ the fun began!  The girls looked gorgeous and everyone was set for a whole lot of fun to be had celebrating their beautiful friend and her upcoming marriage.  I warned Kaylinda (of Kaylinda DeTurk Photography) that this was a new kind of gig for me ~ but how could I say no to a fellow photographer! And I am SO glad I took this on.  I loved working downtown and the girls made it such a fun afternoon.  Always learning, always growing…

I have to say, I think this Black and White is my favorite ~ how gorgeous are these girls!?!

Kansas City has so many beautiful buildings downtown.  The red brick wall is the side of the amazing Folly Theater and the steps lead to the Americo Financial building.
