What a joyful celebration of friends, family, and my sweet Jonah’s First Holy Communion. We were so blessed to have Father Shea officiate the Mass at Saint Peter’s Catholic Church in Uptown Charlotte. We are so very thankful to be a part of such a beautiful Jesuit Community.
This boy. This sweet artistic thoughtful eight year old boy. My middle son. The one who always wants an extra snuggle. The one who is bigger than all the other kids his age, yet has the most gentle of souls. Those big brown eyes melt my heart. He is a stinker, that’s for sure. But he is my stinker ~ and knows exactly how to work his way right back into my good graces, no matter what mischief he gets into 😉
We arrived at the church a little early ~ just he and I ~ and I absolutely loved spending that time with him. We took photos around the church and the garden. Such a beautiful little setting. So peaceful early on a quiet Saturday morning. Thanks for letting me share a little peek into our special day with you…
We Love Father Shea! He saw us taking photos in the garden and climbed through the flower bed to come take a photo with us. He is such a dear sweet soul ~ we are so blessed to call him PastorThanks Suarez Bakery! You never disappoint!! Jonah (and his brothers!!) loved his Vanilla Diplomat cake ~ one of our favorites!
My sweet Jonah Bear 🙂 I loved taking his photos around The Green! Definitely a spot I will be using again soon!!
That’s my boy. All grown up.
He looked so handsome! And man was that Suarez Bakery cake yummy!!
